The Hilton Bed n Breakfast is a small, select residence situated in the heart of Hilton village. Hilton BnB offers four modern, comfortable, upmarket, double bedrooms – all en-suite, some with private entrances. All rooms have the DSTV Hospitality bouquet plus BBC World News, tea and coffee facilities, and heaters and extra blankets for those chilly nights.

We are only 1km from the village centre, 15 minutes from historic Pietermaritzburg (capital of the KwaZulu-Natal Province) and one hour from the city of Durban. In addition we are at the southern gateway of the Midlands Meander Craft Route, close to Tala Game Reserve, and adjoin the KwaZulu Natal Battlefields.

Hilton BnB, situated as it is in the heart of Hilton village, is easily accessible to Hilton College, St Anne’s College, Cowan House Prep School, Grace College, and Cedara Agricultural College. It is also not far from Wykeham Collegiate and Cordwalles.

World’s View and Cascades, within 4 kms and 10 kms respectively, are fast becoming the preferred site for world class BMX and MTB racing in South Africa. The annual Midmar Mile swim attracts Speedo fans and the gruelling Comrades Marathon is world famous. The Royal Agricultural Society still has its annual Royal Show and the Garden and Leisure Show.

Our property borders a wetland and has a beautiful distant view of the Drakensberg, which is easily accessible for day trips.

Heinz and Rosalind Galla-Barth extend to guests the high level of service and warm hospitality that they have sought and only sometimes found during their travels around the world. In addition to English, Heinz is German and speaks a bit of Afrikaans, while Rosalind tries to revive her rusty Mandarin.
